The vision of making Bhuj a litter free and self-sustainable model can either be achieved through managing the waste through service delivery or in an integrated manner through more of community participation. After analyzing the existing situation recommendations which support centralized and decentralized treatment of waste have been proposed. The project aims at treating the waste at source level in order to reduce the impact on environment and also the Municipality's finances on Solid Waste sector.
