The project - wastewater reuse for the city of Bhuj attempts to demonstrate how sewage can be envisaged less like a waste and more like a resource. It also highlights some of the key features of “Gujarat Wastewater Reuse Policy,2016”. The purpose is to optimize the collection and treatment of wastewater and reuse it to reduce the burden on the freshwater source and promote it as an economic resource. It focuses on exploring the potential of wastewater reuse for different activities such as industries, agriculture, and municipal uses, etc. within the city.
