Resilience against Inundation

The project, 'Resilience against Inundation' focuses on reducing the impact of storm water on humans and the built environment with  physical infrastructure and capacity-building measures. he proposals are based on 3 strategies: Preventive, mitigative and proactive. The proposals are chosen after a review of the best global case studies. Underground water storage, water square, retrofitting the streets and measures to increase community resilience are proposed at 4 hotspots in the southeast zone. The project would have a social, economic and health impact upon successful implementation of the proposals.
