public spaces - hierarchical, incremental and equitable

the aim of the final design was to be a product of a series of iterations made in accordance with the specific needs of multiple communities in an area (memnagar), the situations in which are defined and determined largely by the mechanics surrounding a significant urban common(the memnagar lake) in the vicinity.in this regard, the design also attempts to deal with other issues often overlooked in such processes, namely insecure tenure conditions, caste hierarchies and gender issues, specifically in terms of access to public spaces. the final product situates itself around the creation of a public space which is incremental, hierarchical, and equitable.
