AES (Ahmedabad Education Society) Hostel ground that is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has been chosen as the site for this semester to create a transit settlement for people who have been displaced from the Sabarmati river, during the Sabarmati Riverfront Development (SRFD) project. Project Sthaapan deals with establishing the basic infrastructure in the centre of the city having layers of complexities that involves connections from all over the place. It involves the construction of roads, edge conditions as well as plazas, providing multifunctional recreational spaces to the people of the community as well as the city.Click here for the full portfolio
