Freedomville

The studio aims to create a child friendly city where children are the focus group. This project is designed on the base of the mixed context including mainly residential area. The site includes two nodes which are redesigned in such a way that the independent mobility of children increases. The design include designated parking spaces, playing with different plinth levels at the street edge, putting signages and landmarks for their ease in navigating roads, creating cycling tracks, activating open spaces with amenities such as open library and toy box, opening up smaller open spaces for community gathering, public washrooms and drinking water area
