Trailing Through Wilderness

The design is proposed on the banks of river Daman Ganga in Gujarat. The river is surrounded by dense vegetation on both its edges, making it an ecologically rich natural resource. The river body allows people to have different associations with it, encouraging them to access the it for various purposes. The project aims on providing, latitudinal (vertical) as well as longitudinal access to the river through different trails. It aims on connecting different vacant lands with each other and with the river and establish a continuous network of movement.
