Designing a temporary structure, of-by-for the people

The studio focused on intervening in the site through methods of play and mapping. This further elaborated the networking pattern, stakeholders and the informal spaces within. A board game was devised to depict the complex networking within the stakeholders and the neighbourhood. It acted as a participatory tool and the suggestions by the community were considered to devise a temporary movable structure addressing their needs. A movable structure, the final project,  utilised the water from the lake to enhance the green vegetation around it and also acted as a space for people to gather and participate through ad-hoc means.
