The site is dynamic in nature and there are multiple factors that play a vital role in the everyday life of the street vendors and pavement dwellers at the Drive-In road. Some of these factors include essentials like water & sanitation, livelihood opportunities like vending and craftsmanship, dependency on resources like food & shelter. Drive-In road is a means of survival where aspects like housing societies, temples, and police stations have helped in meeting everyday needs though these have become tenuous in the post-COVID times. The intent: Provide better infrastructure and economic opportunities to support the livelihoods of pavement dwellers.
