As part of our studio exercise, we were supposed to draw out a regional plan for Vadodara City located in Gujarat State. We are supposed to delineate a regional boundary of Vadodara. The extent of the subject matters deals with sectoral analysis of 5 different sectors. It includes Demography, Economy, Natural Environment, Infrastructure and Heritage & Tourism. I have worked on Infrastructure sector, which was focused on Physical Infrastructure. The approach was to study various indicators of the physical infrastructure and indentify the talukas having Vadodara's influence for delineation purpose.
