Reinventing Streets

The streets of Vanjarawas slum are poorly maintained with ditches that carry stagnant water and are unsanitary due to which the streets are not able to be used to their full capacity. To increase accessibility and to promote inclusive mobility to the slum it’s important to have better streets that have proper infrastructure which will support the well-being and the day-to-day activities of the community better. This project focuses on improving the drainage of the site locally and globally and making the streets better by using sustainable pavement material to reduce the heat stress on the site.
