Overall the concept was to challenge the stereotype housing unit where leisure and working space are together. Interview s with women showed that when they moved to an unknown place, the things that made them comfortable and more welcoming in the housing facility were unexpected encounters, interactions with the people outside the room. Of course, eventually, these persons would become known but what made space and place feel safer were these small interactions outside the room. Keeping this in mind the units and the project are designed.
