Play Commune

The project aims at creating vibrant and energetic playscapes that promote social interaction and create opportunities of play for everyone. Gheekanta as a site is densely rich in vegetation but lacks public spaces. There is no space for the residents to gather and sit nor any space for children to play. They play on the streets which is unsafe. The project looks at establishing these public via play which is explorative and imaginative. One of the ways to do so was with the use of modularity and play of levels.
