This portfolio presents the work taken as a part of Strategic Transportation Plan Studio (2019). The studio provided an understanding of city level mobility planning, the preparation process and its linkage with spatial, housing and economic development plans. Vadodara was taken as the case city for the study. 
The studio outline included; Literature Review of transportation plans and defining a strategic plan, deciding the horizon year, study area delineation, primary & secondary data collection, future development of three conceptual scenarios, scenario based projects and detailing w.r.t phasing, costing and funding.
The major goals of alternate scenario III are to improved Road Network, Safe mobility for people, Reliable and Affordable Public Transport, Reduce Traffic Congestion & Reduce Private Motorization. Proposal for Intermediate Public Transport, is taken as the study in this portfolio. The rational being to reduce the IPT share and provide a reliable public transport system, reduce congestion on streets and a carbon free environment.
