The Study deals with reviewing the existing situation and analysis of the Public Transport System in Ahmedabad. The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Ahmedabad was reviewed and factors affecting the mode share of public transport were studied including Parking and Local Area Accessibility to the existing PT Infrastructure. Key  interventions for enhancing the first/last mile travel of the commuter in addition to the infrastructure required for achieving the mode shift towards PT are suggested.
