Reviving the Effervescence

Kids are the key user group of this project because they are not only the life of the village but also the future citizens of Ambli. Through our interactions with the kids of the village we realized that the spatial segregation of communities affects the kids relationship with each other and that there is a need for common gathering place for them. At various stages of developing the program and design, tools such as models were used to engage the kids and learn more about their perception. Taking into account issues like recognition of the value of education and community divide, this project proposes a possible solution by providing an educational awareness cum learning center and a playing area around it. The learning center houses the classes like clay modelling, sketching and painting along with a consultancy room for the purpose of awareness. While the play area includes a volleyball pitch, a nature's play section and also an amphitheater that is used for storytelling sessions.
