Surat city is the synthetic textile capital f India. There is a lot of freight vehicular movement in Surat due to the textile industry leading to various externalities of congestion, accidents and pollution. These externalities are a result of inefficient movements of the freight vehicles along major arterials in the city. Operations Center as a project has been proposed to deal with these inefficiencies. This project shows the base situation analysis, future projections, proposal and the economic evaluation of this proposal and the benefits aimed at for the city of Surat.
