The work was undertaken as a part of Transportation Detailed Feasibility Report for third semester 2019. It aimed at understanding the contribution of private sector in enhancing the mobility of a city. The work presents a detailed analysis of carpool service. Carpooling is an environmental friendly and sustainable and cheap way of travelling. It reduces air pollution, traffic congestion and carbon footprints on the road. The work included formulation of the business idea, market assessment, product design, application interface design, legal framework, pricing, risk assessment, project finance and viability, organization structure and market entry/exit strategies.
