The project's aim was to boost the bicycle mode share in Surat. The approach was market segmentation based demand identification, and proposing custom bicycle adoption plans for each user group. The group detailed out here are industrial workers, their specific needs and a bicycle ownership model that suits them. The potential beneficiaries here are over 12000 workers. The financial and economic feasibility of the project has also been worked out.
