ZAP : Bicycle and Hover boards Sharing

 The work undertaken is a  part of the Transportation Detailed Feasibility Project Studio of the monsoon semester 2019. The aim was to provide students with an understanding of feasibility analysis for urban transport proposal. The detailed proposal included feasibility analysis based on the market segmentation, existing services of similar type, service gap, service specifications, regulatory risk assessment and financial calculations.  The detailed business plan and viability of Public Bike Sharing and Hover Boards sharing system named ‘ZAP’ for the city of Visakhapatnam, was prepared. Learning outcomes included understanding of market segments, situation and demand assessment, economic and financial appraisal, service design and implementation of the project.
