Indian cities are made up of physical, cultural, social and emotional layers. Agglomeration of all this layers gives every city or a precinct a unique character. Study area under consideration is a sq.km precinct in Naroda. It lies in North- East part of Ahmedabad and comes under North zone of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). It is made up of two TP namely Saijpur Bhoga and Naroda 1. The precinct under consideration faced a religious battle called Gujarat Riot 2002 when it was at the peak of its development and then it had to face the negative side effects of it for five to eight years. Through this study we are trying to understand and analyze how government projects and policies can impact the growth of the region.
