Through the course Understanding the City Studio we have tried to look at Ahmedabad through our precincts and understand it at the ground level. This work is a study of 1 sq. km area in Virat Nagar, a predominantly residential area in the eastern part of Ahmedabad. This study looks at the precinct from the lens of job sectors & their players, reflecting back on how that is shaped by and in turn shapes the area.
