In the Facets of A Lens : Urban Density

The versatile nature of Indian cities poses a huge challenge in claiming a single deterministic character across its neighbourhoods. Frequent changes cause sprawl, formulating distinctive characteristics, diluting the primitive essence of cities. The unique nature is often confined within a specific area: The CBD. Overtly, the developed fringe areas showcase a globalised characteristic. As cities are made by people, their efficiency can be determined based on the Quality of Life they offer to their residents. The vital aspect of which is Urban Density. However, the life disposed at in neighbourhoods is a qualitative perception, brought about by comparing similar neighbourhoods.
