The portfolio aims to document the study of an urban precinct through a structured research methodology and look at Shakuntala park ,using the data and analysis to understand the inner workings of the precinct. the portfolio is divided into four parts to maintain a cohesive narrative. The first part aims to understand the place and its identity. The second part studies various aspects of a city like road network, land characteristics & building typologies to understand the physicality of a neighborhood and the various layers of its functionality. The third part looks into the public places of the precinct. The last part tries to assimilate our study of the precinct & comparing it with other precincts, using a standard parameter.
