Study of understanding the city and in depth understand the selected 1 square kilometre of precinct within the city.Decoding  the layers based on theories of urban planning, the layers are analyzed based on Understanding history, street networks, land use and city density with blooming opportunity for livelihood. The precinct area is a great example of urban peripheral development,  Precinct has major linkage to GIDC as source of income. Connectivity to development of area from agriculture to livelihood, relays on the node to industrial hub.  Densification due to more horizontal structures led to development towards high rises, which makes University road one of the good localities in Rajkot to live.
