Entropy- Catalyst for Emerging Nuclei in East Delhi

The portfolio is a glimpse in the study of Mayur Vihar Phase 1, a fringe area in the Eastern District of Delhi., that was done as a part of Understanding the City Studio. The study focuses on the analysis of the heterogeneous urban fabric of the area which is acting as a catalyst to reimage the residential area as the emerging nuclei in the fringes of Delhi. The study answers the question How does the area evolve to be self-sufficient? What makes it a preferred residential area even though it lies in the periphery?
