Devising transformation of wadaj

Wadaj is a precinct that serves as an important gateway connecting the upcoming CBD at SG highway, the university area in the west of Ahmedabad to major cities like Gandhinagar and Chandkheda towards the north. The neighborhood falls under the TOD zone and has great scope for redevelopment with important transit networks passing through it. The precinct lacks a coherent character and with TOD being the future of Ahmedabad, it is important to ensure the effective use of PT. Hence the intervention is to use last-mile connectivity as a plug-in to encourage the use of PT and also enhance the user experience in the neighborhood, thus catalyzing the developments around.
