Elements of Urban Design

The portfolio showcases two modules. The first involves a case study of La Rambla, offering insights into right-of-way distribution, urban elements, and on-street parking. These findings informed the design of a responsive street that meets stakeholder needs while incorporating key urban principles. The second module focuses on the design of a public space: A vegetable market in Bopal, considering its role within a larger urban context. The approach emphasizes edge-responsive design, focusing on multipurpose use, detailed seating arrangements, and well-integrated amenities. Together, these modules demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of urban design through analysis, contextual thinking, and user-centered solutions.
