This studio explored the evolution of urban design from the scale of streets to larger civic systems. Beginning with street design, the focus was on understanding mobility, edge conditions, and human-centric infrastructure. The project then scaled up into a lakefront public space — Chandlodiya Commons — where modular design, participatory governance, and ecological strategies were integrated into a responsive, shared civic platform. The studio emphasized designing not just spaces, but systems that evolve with the people who use them.
