Bhat gram a tale of two realities

Bhat Gram, situated between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, reflects stark urban duality. Organic slums and informal structures stand in contrast to luxurious high-rises, symbolizing economic and social divides. Despite its self-sustaining nature, challenges like unequal literacy rates, income gaps, and stagnant development persist. This project aims to unify the fragmented halves by utilizing vacant lands, improving connectivity, and fostering inclusive urban design. By addressing disparities and promoting sustainable growth, the goal is to transform Bhat Gram into an equitable, cohesive precinct. Can this evolving urban narrative bridge the divide and unlock the potential of its vibrant, diverse community
