Elements of Urban Design

This portfolio explores the transformation of public spaces through human-scaled, context-sensitive design. The first module focuses on reimagining Swami Vivekanand Road as a pedestrian-oriented, transit-integrated corridor enhancing connectivity and identity in Eastern Ahmedabad. The second module proposes a vibrant public space at New Nehrunagar Market in Gota, integrating modular markets, open spaces, and community amenities. Both interventions prioritize inclusivity, street activation, and multifunctional use, showcasing how everyday urban environments can become more livable, resilient, and socially engaging through thoughtful urban design strategies.
