Planning the Left - Out Urban Piece through TPS

The Manipur-Godhavi, Ahmedabad, Town Planning Scheme aims to transform 3.2 sq. km of agricultural land into a sustainable, mixed-use urban zone integrated with logistics and infrastructure. Leveraging proximity to the 90m ring road and Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), it promotes connectivity, eco-friendly development, and higher-density projects. With 20.5% allocated to roads, equitable plot reconstitution, and a Rs. 444.09 Cr phased, self-sustaining plan funded through budgets and land sales, the scheme emphasises green infrastructure, inclusivity, and a cohesive urban form for a sustainable future.
