Reimagining Adalaj as a Sub-Regional Node

The proposal envisions Adalaj as a sub-regional node by focusing on the key sectors of economy, heritage preservation, mixed-use development, and recreational facilities. The strategies aim to establish zoning regulations for the study area, which is then further detailed in a TP scheme for micro-level planning. The TP scheme emphasizes on creating a residential neighborhood with accessible greens spaces and social amenities within a walkable distance. Additionally, it incorporates smaller block sizes to enhance walkability. The process integrates the concerns of multiple stakeholders into the process of land development.
