LAP for TOD in PCMC

The project proposes a Local Area Plan (LAP) for Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) to drive the urban renewal of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). The vision is to transform PCMC into a vibrant Business District with dense, diverse, and well-designed neighborhoods that enhance the public realm. The plan integrates land use with transit systems to promote sustainable, compact, and mixed-use development near transit nodes such as metro stations and BRTS. Key objectives include ensuring safety and accessibility, smaller block sizes for walkability, enhancing green spaces, mixed land use, higher density near transit, and distinct street characters
