Through Statutory Development Plan that facilitates “Urban Growth”, is an important tool for planning Urban area. This portfolio has been that each chapter is structured to develop the competencies in making a Development Plan. This includes - Studying and analyzing the micro level planning for the smaller scale area of a city, exercising the comparison of development plan of two different cities to understand the approach and its statutory base. Thus, making a development plan that goes beyond the conventional approach and think about different approaches of planning, zoning, and regulations – making a robust kind of planning. This includes all the layers for preparing a Development plan along with the proposals integrating various layers such as Land-use, Transport, Infrastructure, Economy, Environment, Housing, etc. along with implementation and mechanism of the plan.
