PEDESTRIAN HAVEN

The main aim is to create more breathable spaces within a Central Business District while keeping in mind the different policies which govern the urban block and its surroundings.  Making sure that the urban block  is more accessible to pedestrians instead of vehicular movement is a challenge, hence to attain this a pedestrian haven having common spaces and free will to walk through the urban block due to the absence of compound walls is designed with appropriate guidelines and attaining the required FSI of 5.4.

CASE STUDY - Mumbai NMACC Building

Site introduction- This is Ashram road which is also known as a Central Business District , this site was analyzed and after extensive mapping a ROI % helped in picking a plot for redevelopment.

Along side the activity mapping an extensive calculation was done to ensure the plot picked worked well with the parameters and the ideal criteria .
