Mahesana is a class A municipality in the north Gujarat. Mahesana is poised for future growth due to a very strong future economic drivers near the city. Further, there is adhoc and unauthorised development just outside the city limits. Hence, it calls for an Area Development Plan for the city. Further, it was found that one-fourth of the city is not able to afford the cheapest unit available in the market. Hence, corresponding enabling and providing mechanisms were designed to cater to the issue.
