Urban Housing Plan and Strategy

Comprehensive development plan The aim of this studio was to develop a comprehensive development plan for Mehsana city, Gujarat. The methodology adopted were site survey, household survey, public interactions, key person interviews. Plan preparation considered both long-term and short-term vision for the city and a set of inter-related strategies and proposals for land use, housing, transport, infrastructure, and the environment.This part of project attempts to look into the current financing mechanisms in housing sector along with the government policies and how they can be reviewed or modified as a whole to benefit the intended end users.
