Mahesana is a tier 2 city in Northern Gujarat. Autos and Chakdas are predominantly used modes by residents for trips carried out within the city.  However, lack of proper enforcement of rules and designated parking spaces has resulted in congestion at major nodes of the city and in the core city near Gopi Nala, Fuwara Chowk. This project aims at better management of the IPT movements and institutionalising the drivers and owners to ensure easy movement to passengers which will also result in decongesting the city.
