During this studio, we learnt two very important project management softwares - Primavera P6 and Revit. Primavera is project scheduling and monitoring tool whereas Revit is a 3D modelling BIM tool which has been conceptualised on the basis of lean management.
The project considered for primavera was hotel Hyatt, Banglore and for revit, we developed a 3D model of a canteen building.
Primavera P6 helps in accurately measuring the Planned vs. Actual of a project whereas Revit developes a 2D autocad drawing into 3D for easy understanding of building and clash detection.
