Vajra : White UHPC

Vajra is a white UHPC made by using only white materials. Its max strength is 87 N/mm2 which was achieved by increasing the packing density of the raw materials. This was done by using proper gradation of materials to fill the voids of the subsequent materials.The vajra concrete has a variety of uses starting from interiors and furniture to building facades.Its high durability along with the luxurious look makes superior than wood or marble.

Module 1 : Investigating quality of Basic raw materials of Concrete Problem Statement: Check the suitability of the basic raw materials for their use in concrete production.

Module 2 Raw materials exploration Problem Statement: Explore for the new ingredients which can be used in concrete production with their specific application. Prepare a data sheet with their role in concrete, advantages and disadvantages, price etc.

Module 3 Concreting Operations Problem Statement: Design a nominal mix and design mix concrete for M25 grade with w/c ration 0.40 and 0.45 for nominal mix and slump requirement of 75 mm and 125 mm for design mix. Evaluate properties of fresh concrete and hardened concrete.

Module 4 Pilot Project - Special Concrete Problem Statement: Design a product for common use which can be placed in CEPT campus. Make a proposal with design of the product, materials to be used, process of production and estimated cost. Develop a prototype and a full-scale product.
