Studio-II focused on exploring the execution and monitoring phases of construction projects. A residential project situated on SG-Highway in Ahmedabad was selected to apply our academic understanding. The project involved analyzing pre-construction activities, determining the optimal site layout, and examining contract administration. A 3D Revit model was created to visualize site progress and track weekly photographic updates. Risk planning and monitoring were conducted using Primavera Risk Analysis Software. Additionally, quality management, material handling, and inventory management during the execution phase were analyzed, considering various parameters. To optimize construction activities, Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Foreman Delay Survey were implemented on-site.
