This studio immersed the full lifecycle of a mixed-use high-rise residential development of podium parking, elevators, and shared amenities included by linking classroom theory with live site execution. Using pour-planning and Earned Value Management in Microsoft Project and Primavera, we sequenced concrete pours, allocated labor and machinery, and tracked cost and schedule performance against the baseline. Weekly visits yielded photographic reports, activity logs, progress charts, and annotated observations on quality control, EHS compliance, and material handling. By comparing planned versus actual progress, identifying on-site challenges, and proposing mitigation strategies, we honed our ability to translate planning methods into practical decisions. Ultimately, this hands-on experience sharpened our skills in process monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and performance control preparing us for professional roles in construction execution and project management.
