This project was to develop an understanding of the inception of a Construction Project, for which a proposed Maritime Museum was studied. Lothal, being known for having world’s first Tidal Dock and a glorious maritime history, is the proposed site for this Maritime Museum project. The project focuses exclusively on the conceptualisation and development of the Museum. To start with, feasibility studies were done which included Work Breakdown Structure, Organisation Structure, Demand and Technical analysis, Risk analysis, Stakeholder analysis and Economic Analysis. Analysis was further done to define the Financial viability of the project. Project Controls, Environmental Impact Assessment, Procurement Management, Project Scheduling were other aspects covered during the further development of the project.
