The purpose of this studio was to learn about the process of initiating a construction project, for which a sports complex project is chosen. The Studio project focused on the conceptualization and development phases of the project. This included project site analysis, feasibility studies, technical analysis (including design brief and scope development), legal compliance to be followed, concept planning, Project Procurement Management, Cost Analysis, Risk Management, and Environmental Impact Assessment during the conceptualization phase. Throughout the development phase, the project organization structure, stakeholder management, bid process management, and project controls were all assessed to see if the project was feasible.
