Prestressed Concrete Girder Bridge (Post tensioned)

The intent of the design of bridge studio was to study the various typology of bridges along with their components, loadings and finally design and detail it. The allotted project was PSC girder with 28m span with 16m carriage width. Bottom of the PSC girder was having parabolic profile in central portion. Loading and load combinations was determined in line with IRC 6 to assess the stresses. Load calculations, member designs were done in spreadsheets along with the analysis in the STAAD Pro software. Analysis and design of structures was carried out and detailing was done.
