The project focuses on the design and analysis of an open web truss superstructure with a clear span of 76 meters (EJ to EJ), located in Ahmedabad. The bridge is designed to accommodate a total carriageway width of 11 meters, necessitating detailed consideration of load distribution, structural stability, and material optimization. The substructure consists of rectangular piers founded on pile foundations, ensuring adequate support and load transfer to the ground. The superstructure was modeled, analyzed, and designed using STAAD.Pro, adhering to the relevant provisions of the Indian Roads Congress (IRC) codes to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with national standards.
