Design of an Airport Terminal using Steel

The project endeavored to design an airport terminal within a 20,000 to 25,000 square meter footprint, boasting a clear height of 9 meters and support spans of 50 meters. Steel emerged as the primary material, complemented by a glass roofing system, ensuring both structural robustness and aesthetic appeal.Navigating the challenges of seismic and wind loads, the truss system epitomized the delicate balance between form and function, while the roof elements, conceived as surface entities, harmonized with the overall structural integrity.
