Partially covered football stadium

The project refers to the designing of partially covered football stadium with steel as a material. It has two arches spanning 290 m with 90 m rise.  Various iterations were performed to finalize the angle of inclination for primary and cable members. The key element is the prestressed cables to control deflection under the reversal of loads other than gravity loads. It has trussed structural system with prestressed cables. Non-linear advanced cable analysis was performed to understand the proper behavior  of the system. Design is performed for all the structural members with baseplate and pile foundation design for the substructure.
