The project involves designing a G+13 high-rise RCC building with an E-shaped irregular plan, located in Seismic Zone IV. The plan irregularity, caused by projections and re-entrant corners, introduces complexities in seismic behavior and stress concentrations. Re-entrant corners lead to stress concentration, differential displacement, and torsional effects. Structural modeling in ETABS, load considerations, and preliminary sizing were conducted, followed by iterative analysis for drift, displacement, torsion checks, and re-entrant corner impact mitigation. Shear walls and columns were optimized for seismic forces. Modal analysis examined diaphragm behavior and torsional irregularity. Finalized structural detailing ensures compliance with IS codes, prioritizing safety, stability, and seismic resilience.
